	A loft converted into a child's bedroom. This conversion has velux windows to the front fo the property (Velux Windows are used where the ceiling of the room follows the slanted shape of the roof)
Depending on where you live, an attic loft conversion can offer spectacular views.   Whether it is the London skyline of twinkling lights or the rolling hills of the countryside.  A converted loft can make all the difference to your property.
	This photo was taken in the second bedroom into the child's bedroom with the access door to the landing and en-suite bathroom.  Notice how spacious the room is even in a loft. By using dormer windows to the rear of the property you are able to fit a full height shower and en-suite bathroom togetehr with full height windows for maximum light.
Voids in the roof can be also utilised in some very ingenious ways.  There is always a space above stair wells. For example a cupboard in a child's bedroom, built to fit the shape of the room, plus an internal light to access all it's contents.
	Stairs going up to the converted loft make the extension part of the original house.  Where possible, the stairs will be placed above the existing stairwell, to maximise available space. There are many options for ballastrad rails, whether turned or straight, natural wood or painted.  Flooring can be stained or carpeted.
Two bedrooms and an en-suite, in one loft conversion.  With a bit of careful planning, you can get two rooms an en -suite and the stairwell into a standard terrace house, as seen in these examples. This loft conversion turned a two bedroom terrace house into a four bedroom terrace home with en suite ... all in a single loft conversion.  No need to move house to make more space.
